The Rolling Stones performing Waiting on a Friend is today’s featured addition to Top Rock Music Videos.
Waiting on a Friend is the second single off the band’s album titled Tattoo You, which was released in August, 1981.
The music for Waiting on a Friend was actually recorded almost a decade earlier during the recording of one of the band’s earlier album’s titled Goats Head Soup in 1972. The song features previous guitarist Mick Taylor, who left the band in 1974 prior to Tattoo You ever being released.
