Here’s Pearl Jam performing Even Flow in a music video I came across on YouTube today.
Even Flow is from the bands debut album titled Ten, which was released in August, 1991.
The single reached number 3 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock charts. Even Flow is one of, if not, the bands most popular songs including being performed at live concerts.
This was the first Pearl Jam song I ever heard way back in summer 1992. I loved it then and still love it today, but what I found most interesting about it is Pearl Jam, Brendan O’Brien and Josh Taft’s use of “sleight of hand” in filming the band playing “Evenflow” in a few different concerts(note the different guitars), but using the rerecorded studio recording and linking it up to the live performances to make it seem like a live recording when it was in fact done in the London Bridge Studios.
That aside one of my favorite songs of all time!!!
