Are You Gonna Be My Girl is from the band’s debut album titled Get Born which was released in September, 2003.
The music video won the 2004 MTV Video Music Award for Best Rock Video. Other nominees in the running for 2004 were: The Darkness — “I Believe in a Thing Called Love”; Evanescence — “My Immortal”; Hoobastank — “The Reason”; Linkin Park — “Breaking the Habit”.
