The concert was a tribute to the life of the late Freddie Mercury of Queen and was televised to a worldwide audience.
Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door was originally written by Bob Dylan for the soundtrack of 1973 movie Pat Garrett & Billy The Kid. Besides being performed by Bob Dylan originally, it has been covered by various bands such as Eric Clapton, the Grateful Dead and as in this video, Guns N Roses.
